SC Cleared - Performance Tester - Contract

I am currently working with a large information and communications company to help recruit a number of Performance Test Engineers on a contract basis.

The successful candidates will use their testing background to work closely with Solution Owners and other technical delivery team members to execute and automate test scripts as well as undertaking defect management and reporting as required.  

Duration: 6 months initially
Clearance: Current SC Clearance
Location: Mainly remote working with occasional travel to Hampshire or Berkshire. NOTE - Although the client can offer remote working, the successful candidate will need to be UK based
Rate: Dependent on experience and current level e.g. Mid/Senior
Client Engagement: Umbrella  

Your Background:

• Extensive background in Performance Testing as well as exposure to automation frameworks. 
• Solid understanding of JMeter
• Knowledge of SOAP UI test management tooling such as Jira

Beneficial Skills:

• A definite bonus if you have exposure to the TAURUS framework

   The Role:

• Prepare the performance test strategy/plan as well as developing and reviewing test scripts 
• Analyse critical business scenarios
• Analyse service level agreement objectives
• Reviewing the workload model
• Review and analysis of the test execution results
