CGI’s space, defence and intelligence business is looking for a marketing consultant to help drive awareness and credibility with our target clients. This is an exciting opportunity to work within a growing business that really make a difference to our clients.

We work tirelessly to advise, build and operate bespoke, technically complex, mission-critical information systems which help our clients keep us all safe and secure. These clients include UK Ministry of Defence, Secure HMG clients, UK Space Agency and new space organisations.

This role will be part of SDI’s Secure Business Engineering team and will work closely with SDI’s BU leadership and business development teams.

Your future duties and responsibilities:

We work tirelessly to advise, build and operate bespoke, technically complex, mission-critical information systems which help our clients keep us all safe and secure. These clients include UK Ministry of Defence, Secure HMG clients, UK Space Agency and new space organisations.
This role will be part of SDI’s Secure Business Engineering team and will work closely with SDI’s BU leadership and business development teams.
Responsibilities:
• Effectively deliver our presence at exhibitions, conferences, sponsorships and recruitment events across the UK and beyond
• Work with our digital team to bring to life our space, defence and intelligence mission-critical IT systems
• Support the development of marketing content and collateral that enhances our storytelling
• Work with the business development teams to support account based marketing.
In addition, the individual will:
• Seek to highlight best practice from outside of SDI and engage with corporate functions such marketing and communications;
• Consistently use CGI brand standards in all communications materials;
• Work flexibly with our wider team to support business development activities.

Required qualifications to be successful in this role:

• A minimum of 2 years experience of marketing
• Proven event management skills
• A strong understanding of digital marketing tools and techniques
• Exceptional communication, organisational and planning skills
• Excellent attention to detail and motivated to complete tasks
• Proven influencing skills and building strong personal relationships
• Ability to work with Senior Management at Business Area and BU levels.

Clearance required: SC (or ability to gain SC)
Location: Full time role can be based in Reading or Leatherhead. Travel to other office locations and to external events within the UK required.
