Do you have previous experience providing support as a PoW Technical Manager (Interoperability)? Are you looking to play a meaningful role in a creative environment? If so, we are searching for someone like you to join our team of experts supporting NATO!
DESCRIPTION OF DUTIES
Your daily role responsibilities with our company will be as follows:
- Participate in the formulation, planning and execution of technical and scientific NATO and multi¬national programmes of
work in Interoperability areas including, but not limited to, enterprise architecture, secure networking, secure voice, radio
waveforms, tactical interoperability, spectrum policy, military doctrine and associated CIS concepts. - Participate in portfolio management, programme management and associated coordination activities with a view to improve the
situational awareness at portfolio and programme levels, identify links between the NHQC3S PoW and other NATO programmes of work and initiatives, develop technical and non-technical dashboards, and liaise with non-technical staff. - Organize and engage in scoping discussions with sponsors and project team members on PoW activities, elaborate work plans,
and act as technical manager and/or senior contributor to the work to be conducted. - Prepare, organize and lead scoping and coordination meetings with the different PoW external and internal stakeholders, and
contribute to overall coherence and awareness in PoW execution. - Provide technical briefings and presentations on the progress of the various work activities, making sure that work plans are
followed and meet internal and external milestones. - Elaborate high-quality technical reports and briefs to be circulated as NATO technical documents and inputs to NATO
committees and other forums. - Perform other duties as required, including deputizing for the senior NCI Agency project team members as required.
REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS
If you have passion for the work described above, here are the basic qualifications we are looking for:
- A senior profile matching the level of a principal technical manager with a solid scientific background and with a proven track
record of technical management work in the areas of Communications Interoperability and Spectrum in the context complex programmes. - Proven military and NATO experience, including direct support to NATO technical consultation activities under the C3 Board
Substructure and their related work. - A Master of Science (MSc) degree from a reputable university in a related discipline with a minimum of 5 years' relevant
demonstrated post-related experience. - Extensive and demonstrated knowledge and experience in the following areas:
o Planning, coordination and execution of technical and scientific work for large defence programmes and projects involving multiple stakeholders;
o Development of programme and project management artefacts and documentation, including dashboards, plans, status reports,
briefs, etc.;
o Conduction of analyses and development of concepts in the areas of Secure Communications and Spectrum Management and
Policy;
o Briefing senior technical and non-technical stakeholders; - Recognized track record in dealing with stakeholders, understanding their needs, problems, and requests and proposing
constructive ways ahead. - Proven ability to apply architecture methodologies to express complex systems of systems in architectural terms and models of
varying detail. - Proven ability to communicate effectively in English both in writing and orally with excellent writing and briefing skills to
different types of audiences, including providing briefings, and writing high-quality technical reports. - NATO Secret Clearance or national equivalent
- Must be a citizen of one of the 30 NATO nations
