Greater Manchester Police is looking for an experienced Systems, Data and Transformation Manager to work in our HR Shared Service. This full time, permanent post provides an excellent opportunity for the right candidate to be part of an innovative HR, payroll and pension service which operates in partnership with Trafford Council.
Working in a specialist team, you will be responsible for the maintenance and ongoing development of a range of HR-related software including MHR i-Trent. You would also manage a small team of technical specialists and support staff to ensure that both GMP and the Council have access to high quality, workforce related data and payroll information.
The successful candidate will shape the way in which our HR shared service uses technology now and in the future. You will also act as client to our key software providers and ensure that these contracts represent value for money to our customers. In order to be successful in this role you will need recent experience of all aspect of systems development from assessment of business needs through to evaluation of implementation. Practical knowledge of working with MHR iTrent and Business Objects or similar corporate HR, Finance, Payroll system in a large complex organisation would also be an advantage. Excellent leadership skills and the ability to communicate at all levels is essential.
