Junior Analyst Developer

LOCATION: Luxembourg

CONTRACT: 3-5 year consultancy

YOUR ROLE:

Support the delivery of courses, Our Client is using a commercial off-the-shelf Learning Management System (LMS) in combination with proprietary software.

TASKS:

• The Training Zone is constantly adapted to meet its customer needs. The Training Zone team analyse the context (e.g. feedback comments, support call, discussion with users) and evaluate the options to answer it:
• Acting on the LMS (e.g. provide adaptations to the LMS configuration, raise bugs or request for

           changes to the LMS supplier)

• Acting on the IT Infrastructure (e.g. request for change to server and network configuration, interface with new IT services)
• Acting on proprietary software (e.g. adapt the existing software, develop new software)
• Acting on organisational aspects (e.g. propose new procedures, engage in documentation, training or communication activities)
• The purpose of this contract is to obtain time-based assistance in support of the analysis and software development
• The developer is expected to work directly with Our  Client's Training Zone team for the duration of the contract. IANS facilities are based in Luxembourg and the work shall be carried out from those premises

REQUIREMENTS:

• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent certification preferrable in Computer Science or equivalent certifications
• The candidate should be able to communicate in French and English
• 2 years’ experience of business analysis for software development projects
• 2 years’ experience with the development of web-based applications
• At least 2 years’ experience with the design of Graphical User Interface
• At least 1 year experience in providing end user support (e.g. helpdesk function, producing functional documentation, bug analysis)
• At least 1 year experience in software development for the training domain
• At least 1 year in a multi-cultural team or in an international context
• At least 2 years’ experience with ASP.NET MVC applications developed in C#
• 1 year experience with ASP Classic
• 2 years’ experience of software development with SQL Database
• At least one year experience with MS-SQL
• At least 2 years’ experience with HTML, CSS and JavaScript development
• At least 2 years’ experience with frontend frameworks (e.g. Bootstrap, jQuery, Angular, React)
• 1 year experience with system-to-system interactions (i.e. web services, proprietary Ay API, Rest API)
• 1 year experience with Learning Management System (LMS) administration
• 1 year experience with the IMC LS software
• At least 2 years’ experience with visual studio and in Microsoft Team Foundation Server
