I'm hiring a ServiceNow consultant on rolling 6 month contracts.

You will work within a project/BAU team focused on implementing, configuring and supporting ServiceNow for a variety of our customer's clients within the public and private sectors.

As a team player, you must have good clear communication skills, with excellent interpersonal skills. You should be able to demonstrate a methodical approach to problem solving, be able to multi-task a mixture of project, and support related tasks.

You will be responsible for, and take ownership of, specific activities (and their outcomes) as part of a consulting team and support more senior consultants on consulting projects and clients

Key Responsibilities:

  • Manage the successful delivery of ServiceNow activities as part of a consulting project in order to achieve revenue targets and high levels of customer satisfaction
  • Combine fresh thinking and insight to identify ServiceNow enhancements and additional consulting opportunities and shape innovative ideas for new and existing clients
  • Support the capture and shaping of consulting opportunities for clients, helping them re-imagine their ServiceNow future development requirements.
  • Support bid opportunities for ServiceNow consulting projects that demonstrate Sopra Steria's distinctive and sustainable consulting business and secure additional revenue and/or new clients Be an advocate of Sopra Steria ServiceNow practice through participation in industry forums, events and social media.
  • Live the consulting-led culture by embracing innovative, highly disruptive technologies that support new ways of working in a digital world Contribute to the wider Consulting Community through sharing personal knowledge and experience.
  • Assist the business analyst with requirements gathering using ServiceNow Agile/Scrum process
  • Perform end to end implementations using ServiceNow Engagement Methodology or similar
  • Ensure best practice adherence for core system setup, development, security, tuning and performance.
  • Coordinate release planning and implementations.
  • Undertake releases using agreed change management and release management processes
  • Provide subject matter expertise, act as technical product advocate, design, develop and implement ITIL processes initially Incident, problem, change and asset management (CSM, ITSM, ITAM) and Knowledge, Demand and Release Management modules within ServiceNow platform.
  • Customize ServiceNow applications and facilitate rollout of new applications, modules and workflow
  • Collaborate effectively with other ServiceNow administrators, business analysts and customers to develop solutions and handle general updates and configuration changes/requests
  • Identify system deficiencies and recommend solutions
  • Maintenance and continuous improvement of the processes, standards, policies, working methods, and tools
  • Ensure appropriate tools and processes are in place to have a development/production environment that is reliable and reproducible
  • Ensure tool configuration consistency across development, QA, and production environments
  • Undertake/assist with testing including functional and UAT
  • Develop quick how to guides and other material for end users in collaboration with the business analyst
  • Participate in ongoing production support and end user support
  • Exhibit excellent communications skills with proven experience of handling difficult customers.
  • A positive attitude towards teamwork and contribute to the achievement of Team Goals.
  • Be supportive of junior members of the team, training and mentoring them.
  • Contributing to the wider Consulting Community through sharing personal knowledge and coaching less experienced consultants

    1. ITSM Implementation (CIS-ITSM)
    2. Customer Service Management (CIS-CSM)
    3. Hardware Asset Management Implementation (ITAM)
    4. Software Asset Management (CIS-SAM)
    5. IT Operations Management
    6. Discovery (CIS-Disco)
    7. Event Mgt (CIS-EM)
    8. Cloud Mgmt (CIS-CM)
  • Have overview knowledge of ITIL Service Management processes and practices.
  • ITILv4 Foundation
