(Remote at present otherwise Croydon based when returned to the office, Full-time, Permanent)

The Role of a Business Analyst

Purpose of role: This role is to support design and delivery of the function cross-government standards programme.

This programme has been established to ensure there is the right provisions at ports to operate a secure and effective border. The role will cover/support a diverse range of activities across the programmes two workstreams, infrastructure standards and technology standards (Border Code).

 

 

Key Outcome & Deliverables

  • Technology options analysis and standards design
  • Finalised infrastructure standards
  • National Statement of Expectations design
  • Compliance & assurance regime requirements gathering and design
  • Workshop setup and requirements gathering
  • Senior stakeholder engagement, to include design of briefing material

 

Essential Criteria:

  • Business analysis
  • Requirements management
  • Planning and scheduling
  • Monitoring and reporting
  • Stakeholder management
  • Risk and issue management
  • Business Analysis
  • PRINCE2, APM PMQ, MSP or equivalent.
 

Desirable Qualifications:

  • Working within the civil service
  • Compliance and assurance
  • Governance
  • Commercial awareness
  • Change control
