The Role:

We require an experienced Systems Architecture / Solutions Consultant who can help our client understand and respond to Cyber Vulnerabilities. Your role will be to help analyse and visualise complex security problems, identify suitable solutions and support their delivery to stakeholders. Responsibilities:

  • Support engagement with suppliers as needed
  • Develop the technical aspects of more complex and involved interventions, for example by developing trial strategies and plans, and lead their delivery

Essential Skills:

  • Strong stakeholder engagement skill, including eliciting requirements and briefing information, both verbally and in writing, to a wide range of stakeholders, including both Crown Servants and military personnel across a range of technical and programmatic disciplines.

  • Knowledge of and demonstrable experience of complex delivery within an MOD environment
  • Knowledge of and demonstrable experience of complex systems integration
  • Knowledge of and demonstrable experience of complex procurements within the constraints of MOD’s procurement processes.
  • Knowledge of and demonstrable experience of options analysis from a technical perspective.

Desirable Skills:

  • The project responds to stakeholder needs from across the enterprise. Therefore, a breadth of knowledge is desired over highly technical knowledge:
  • A broad knowledge of how Defence Operates.
  • A broad knowledge of MOD’s capabilities and subordinate technical systems.
  • A broad knowledge of Security Operations
  • A broad knowledge of security and IT tooling
  • Practical experience of Microsoft Security Portfolio
  • Knowledge of Networking, Software Applications, Storage, Cloud
  • Commercial & Industry knowledge
  • Ability to identify and quantify Cyber Security Risk
