If you have experience in cyber security and risk management and are looking for your next working role in Cheltenham, we want to hear from you! Guidant Global is seeking a skilled and collaborative Information Assurance Advisor to join our client's inclusive team in Cheltenham. This Information Assurance Advisor role is for a 12-month contract (likely to extend) and comes with a favourable day rate of £600 - £800 DOE.

In this Information Assurance role, you will assess a range of systems, applications, and services to identify, evaluate and manage risks to our client's people, assets, data and reputation.

In your first few weeks as a flexible Information Assurance Advisor, you can expect to:

• Manage Information Risk Management on behalf of and in collaboration with the Business Unit
• Build and maintain effective relationships within your assigned Business Unit, working closely with Accreditation teams
• Assess and report on Information Risks on complex projects, programmes and scenarios
• Build working relationships across the business

To succeed in this Assurance Advisor position, you will need a Master's and/or Bachelor’s degree level of education in cyber security or a technology-based discipline (or demonstrate equivalent experience). You also must be DV cleared. 

Additional requirements and qualifications include:

• An expert in Information Risk Assessment and Management
• NCSC Certified Cyber Professional (CCP) 
• Certified Information Systems Security Professional (CISSP)
• Ability to build relationships with stakeholders at various seniority levels 
• Excellent communication skills and the ability to clearly translate technical jargon
