If you are an Information Security Officer with experience working in situations with a reasonably complicated risk management scope, then we want to hear from you! Guidant Global is helping a respected company find an Information Assurance Manager to join their inclusive team. This is a full-time role, initially for 12-months.

In this Information Assurance Manager role, you will work within specific business areas to act as the primary risk management point of contact, acting as the liaison between the business area and stakeholders.

In your first few weeks as a flexible Information Assurance Manager, you can expect to:

• Document and manage information risks on behalf of and in collaboration with the business unit
• Conduct assurance activity within a business unit and report to relevant risk stakeholders
• Communicate within your assigned business unit
• Assess and report on information risks
• Help projects, programmes, and/or business units to identify information risk management issues

To succeed, you should be an expert in risk assurance and management, possess excellent communication and problem-solving skills, and have the ability to clearly translate technical jargon as well as the ability to clearly understand the impacts of risk from a security and legal perspective.

You will also need:

• To be able to build relationships with stakeholders
• An array of technological skills and awareness
• To be up to date with industry-relevant skills and advancements
• To be able to work independently
• The ability to elicit information

The successful candidate must be DV cleared. Cyber security qualifications would also be beneficial.
