DevOps Engineer

If you're a talented and collaborative DevOps Engineer looking to join an agile and inclusive team, we want to hear from you! We are seeking a Cloud Platforms Manager based in London for a 12-month contract. This Dev Ops Manager role comes with a great daily rate of £450 - £625.

In this flexible DevOps Engineer role, you will play an active part of an Agile team of Engineers delivering automation and optimizations for Developers using engineering modern standards and DevSecOps principles.

Your Principal DevOps Engineer responsibilities will include:

• Providing support to Engineers and their suite of Developer tools and environments
• Collaborating with the user community sharing knowledge and expertise to drive engineering standards
• Working under the Scaled Agile Framework (SAFe)

You may have Azure Cloud experience, Scrum Master experience, or be a Jenkins/Bamboo/GitLab practitioner - and that's just perfect! Alternatively, you may have practical knowledge & experience of engineering principles such as CI-CD, automation, testing, and observability.

The successful Engineering candidate will have:

• First-hand experience of working in Agile engineering projects and actively contributing to Agile ceremonies (sprint/PI planning, demos, retros, etc.)
• Good experience of operations and monitoring tools, e.g., Elastic Search, Prometheus, Grafana, or equivalent
• Excellent administration across operating systems, specifically Linux
• First-hand experience with Docker, Podman, etc.
• Good practical understanding of PKI certificates
