The MI Developer will play a key role in developing an effective and progressive MI capability within the Fraud Analytics and Data Science Team.

The successful applicant will be given support to use new tools and data to revolutionise how we produce MI. This includes enhancing, automating and replacing legacy solutions and developing the next phase of Fraud MI, for use across the Fraud Centre of Excellence.

What you'll be doing

  • Focusing on MI development using a combination of languages and tools such as SAS, SQL, Python and a wide array of BI and Dashboarding tools
  • Performing quick analysis, production of MI and longer-term MI projects
  • Accountability for delivering MI solutions. This could be a combination of automating existing solutions or building new ones
  • Using a range of tools to interrogate and summarise extensive datasets from various data sources

What you will bring

  • Technical Background. Proficient in the use of several MI / Analytics tools and comfortable manipulating large datasets.
  • Ability to code and be able to apply this to real data

It would also be nice for you to have

  • A relevant university degree or equivalent experience within an MI or Analytics role that required the individual to build solutions using extensive data sets and a variety of tools.
  • Team player who is motivated to deliver results
  • Strong Stakeholder Management skills

Given the recent impact of the Coronavirus outbreak we will be conducting all interviews via telephone or video-conference where possible.

This is a permanent role based in Milton Keynes with the flexibility of working from home.
