Infrastructure Engineer

This leading organisation is actively seeking an Infrastructure Engineer to join their company working on an initial 6-month contract based at their site in Saudi Arabia.

Role:

To establish and manage IT Infrastructure services across all operational account and projects. The IT Infrastructure Services accountable for all aspects of server, networks, storage, backup, infrastructure applications and other backend support, including multi-platform, multi-software package technical support, problem identification, and resolution.

Responsibilities:

• Support designing and developing the policies, standards, procedures, tools, techniques, and plans that apply to infrastructure operations, including multi-platform, multi-software package technical support, problem identification, and resolution.
• Identify and meet the strategic, and operational targets.
• Provide timely and appropriate advice and guidance to others on all aspects of technical support activities and their deliverables.
• Responsible for management and direction of 3rd line support team

To be successful in the role of Infrastructure Engineer:

• Hands on experience with Commvault, VMware & Linux
• Expert/proven troubleshooting experience
• Ideally experience in as many of the following: HW storage solutions on Netapp, Microsoft Active Directory, Citrix netscalor and Redhat OS
• Hold a bachelor’s degree in IT or a relevant IT certificates and has a knowledge about IT Service Framework.
• Must hold current SC Clearance
