DV Clearable - Java Tech Lead

Job Description

In the role of a Tech Lead you will be responsible for providing both hands-on technical and managerial leadership to software engineering teams. You will also be technically hands-on within customer-focused projects. You can expect to be involved in roughly 25% management and 75% in a technical capacity.

In this role, you will be involved with people management. You will make a real difference to the working environment by ensuring the Software Engineers enjoy their working environment.

You will also be involved in dealing with team issues, collating and escalating to Line Managers. You will actively support individuals career and personal development.

As part of this role, you will have the willingness to participate and support the business in broader roles as and when required e.g. Scrum Master, mentoring and line management.

Your Skills:

• A strong background in leading Software Teams
• Strong background in creating clean and well-constructed code ideally within Java
• Use to working in a Scrum Agile environment
• Awareness of deployment infrastructure technologies and have a broader knowledge in the fields of consultancy and Systems Engineering.
