Pay Rate: Up to £396 per day pay range subject to IR35 status

Please note you must have DV clearance and be a sole British national only.

 Also travel involved, which can be anywhere from Cornwall to Scotland.

Main Duties

  • Act as the DSRS Teams eyes on the ground for all estate and security matters ensuring adherence to the security Aspect Letter.
  • Provide regular reports to the DSRS team to meet the management requirements.
  • Ensure legal, H&S and CGB policy requirements are complied with and keep up to date on changing legislation/best practice externally.
  • Act as the site local point of contact for any works, holding the prime contractor to account for the delivery of maintenance and renewal activities.
  • Keep abreast of all relevant property and facilities management developments.
  • Assist the project team in providing financial management information (including accruals evidence - if required).
  • Provide HOE oversight and support to the prime contractor.
  • Contribute and work with the prime contractor on business continuity plans.
  • Negotiate and agree appropriate pricing for all works required in the course of duties.
  • Monitor and facilitate progress of all DIO activities and projects.
  • To monitor infrastructure condition and challenge any failure to meet regulatory outputs.
  • Develop and maintain clear working relationship with Digital HOE function.
  • Establish, develop and maintain relationships with local landowners and lessees.
  • All other HOE activities required by law, policy, Digital guidance and wider CGB direction.
  • Escalate issues, risks and opportunities appropriately and in a timely manner to Line Management chain.
  • Maintain accurate Records and Work In Progress files

    Additional Responsibilities

  • You will be a reporting Officer (through the Project Team) for the Deputy HOE post. In addition to Mentor and coach others on policies, procedures, practices and techniques equipping them with the knowledge and skills to deliver their work in an effective and efficient manner

    REQUIREMENTS:
    There are no specific qualifications that come with the role but would prefer if you have the following Estate Management Competencies:

  • Estate Management (EM) 1.9 Managing Building Services
  • EM 1.10 Managing Estate Support Services
  • EM 1.12 Estate Health & Safety Issues
  • EM 1.7 Estate Compliance Management

    You will have/ be:

  • Confident with excellent communication skills, both verbal and written.
  • Knowledge of legal, health and safety and policy requirements.
  • Working knowledge of financial planning and reporting arrangements.
  • Confident when making judgements, with a range of information available.
  • Extensive experience in estate management – potentially managed several sites before
