About The Role
Our client is looking to recruit a National Account Sales Manager, you will be required to identify and develop new sales opportunities as well as develop a pipeline of new accounts. You will regularly interact with customers, government organisations and key stakeholders as well as the internal operational managers, national accounts team, bid team and finance team.
Responsibilities
- Identify and develop new sales opportunities in accordance with the sales strategy
- Develop a pipeline of new account opportunities
- Develop full understanding of new funding reform opportunities
- Achieve targets in accordance with the growth strategy
- Develop and maintain relationship with internal stakeholders including operational and business support teams
- Liaise with the relevant stakeholders to ensure understanding and agreement to new opportunities and technical solution is in accordance with customer requirements, testing aspects of the solution with the customer
- Develop relationships with external stakeholders including the ESFA account management team for large employers
- Support the Head of Sales in the development and delivery of the WLS marketing plan, aligned to the growth strategy
- Ensure the business winning and governance procedures are followed for all opportunities
- Ensure all policies, processes and procedures are followed, specifically those related to Security; Equality, Diversity & Inclusion; Health, Safety & Environmental and Welfare & Safeguarding policies
Qualification and Requirements
- Proven track record of consistently achieving sales targets
- Experience of employer engagement across a variety of occupational sectors
- Demonstrates a high level of organisational skills and financial awareness
- Strong customer relationship development skills
- Effective management of resources
- Industry related qualifications such as Degree or HND are desirable
- Applies flexibility, imagination, innovation and creative problem solving techniques
- Competent at interpreting a wide range of financial information and the ability to use this information to determine direction
- Ability to work in, and adapt to, a changing environment
