Please note: West Midlands location – NOT REMOTE travel to London South Wales

Main Duties:

  • You will be responsible for creating interactive programs that enhance a user’s experience with the site and facilitate an enjoyable experience, shown through previous examples of work.
  • Focus on designing the presentation and interactivity of the solution, in collaboration with other team leads.
  • Create user-centred SharePoint 2019 site designs by understanding business requirements, user journeys, customer feedback, and usability findings, in collaboration with other team leads.
  • Experience of designing a website to comply WCAG 2.1 standards.
  • Quickly and iteratively create user flows, wireframes, prototypes, low and high-fidelity mock-ups.
  • 3-5 years of demonstrated experience in creating and implementing UI development.
  • Professional written and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to work effectively in a collaborative environment to create top-performing interfaces.

Expected outputs/deliverables include but not limited to:

  • Site template wireframes – estimated to be a minimum of 11.
  • Navigation and site map structure - Devise the simplest way for a user to navigate to the information they require.
  • Devise what information is initially presented to the User on arriving at the site.
  • Devise how information is stored to make the Users experience the best possible, exploiting the capability provided by SharePoint 2019 ‘on premise’.
  • Assist using ‘named site collections’ and how they link to generic information areas.
  • Provide input into the High-Level Design to enable completion and approval.
  • Collaboration activities with other members of the Project team and Product Owner to support fulfilment of customer requirements.
  • Participate in project meetings and proactively provide briefing notes on issues as they arise.
  • Document the work completed.

You must have:

  • Background knowledge of SharePoint
  • Proven experience under experience
  • Public sector experience previous experience of MOD
