Location: Stevenage

Salary: £47,000 + Bonus + Paid Overtime + Excellent Benefits

Skills & Requirements:

We are looking for enthusiastic Project Planners with strong communication skills who are capable of building and developing effective working relationships with individuals at all levels. You will need to be experienced in industry standard planning techniques of complex technical projects (preferably using Primavera) and comfortable with managing all stages of the project life-cycle. The client is seeking someone confident in producing, advising and analysing data related to project performance as the role requires advanced proficiency in MS Excel.

  • 37 hour week - blended 2-3 days per week approach to on-site and remote working.
  • Flexible working (core hours 9.30-4pm Mon-Thurs 9.30-12.30 Friday)

Project Planners are at the heart of our project, working with the engineers, project managers and all other areas of the project business team to plan, supply, analyse and manage project information on behalf of the various stakeholders.

Responsibilities

  • Practice, promote and uphold the Company standard of planning and scheduling
  • Support and Drive the growth of Project Planning/Scheduling and Control through innovation
  • Analysing Schedule and Cost performance, determining variance and its respective causes, and providing mitigating options if required
  • Support the bid team in the production of robust schedules, cost and resource plans
  • Challenge project performance data and turn it into relevant, high quality and accurate reports
  • Foster strong working relationships with engineers, project managers and the broader community to be able to embed project control and planning standards
  • Facilitate and champion robust Risk and Opportunity management
  • Opportunity to work in an international environment

Clearance level: Ability to obtain or currently hold SC Clearance.
