Your background of systems design engineering and strong experience in software or electronics will help you to support product development for the C2 systems and propose design solutions. As a C2 Systems Design Engineer (Maritime) you'll be supporting the definition of the C2 software design and certification documentation for the products.

About the job:

Our client currently requires a Systems Design Engineer to support product development for the C2 systems and propose design solutions. Day to day you'll be supporting the definition of the C2 software design and architecture, defining requirements, managing certification documentation for the products, and investigating customer queries.

Working in the C2 domain provides the opportunity to interact with all areas of the company, to see the full product development life-cycle and deliver real capability to the customers to protect their home nation for the future.

A C2 sub-system is the heart and brains of the weapon system: it has to understand the threats to the protected assets, and plan and then manage engagements of those threats, in a complex and changing situation.

About you:
As a C2 Systems Design Engineer (Maritime) you will have;
*Systems design/ systems engineering experience in software or electronics
*Degree level qualification (or equivalent experience)
