Finance Manager - SC Cleared

Hybrid - Need to be commutable to Guildford / London 2-3 days a week

My client, a leading consultancy, supplying to both government sectors and high profile security clients is currently seeking a Finance Manager  to own the accurate execution of our Local and international Statutory reporting, lead and own all audits of statutory financial statements and assist with month end close. This role forms part of a Financial Control and Accounting team.

 

Core Duties / Responsibilities

  • Ownership of our local and international Statutory reporting process, preparing all Statutory accounts in compliance with IFRS or local GAAP requirements and in accordance with filing deadlines.
  • Lead and own all audits of local and international accounts, (involves liaising with external auditors, tax and wider finance team), and managing the process of deliverables, including compiling necessary audit evidence, to the external auditors. 
  • Lead and own the Controls audit performed across local entities 
  • Managing the overall integrity of the Legal entity ledgers to confirm compliance with IFRS and Finance Policy Memorandum   
  • Support Senior Finance Manager in year-end Group reporting submission through HFM.
  • Ownership/Involvement in Process Improvement Projects
  • Supporting the Financial Control and Accounting team with other tasks as required

 

Functional Knowledge

  • Qualification ACCA/ACA 
  • Experience of SAP (Desirable) and HFM (desirable)
  • Strong IFRS knowlegde 
  • Good knowledge of MS Excel, MS PowerPoint and MSWord
