An exciting opportunity for a Developer to join the Hexegic team you will be responsible for developing applications and platform features in the Power Platform. This role in the dynamic Defence sector will initially be a six month fixed term contract but with likelihood to extend with the project.

Main Duties and Responsibilities:

Design, create and improve new and existing products, platforms and transactions across the organisation. Have strong skills in low code Power Platform and Dynamics tools and be ready to quickly get to work within a multi-disciplinary team of developers, designers, editors, and analysts focussed on one or more products or projects.

Build web and mobile products to serve a variety of users' needs. Build up a useful, robust automated test suite to support a Continuous Deployment environment. Share knowledge of tools and techniques with the wider team, both developers and non-developers. Take part in 2nd-line support of applications and platforms.

• Ability to program in Power Platform and Dynamics.
• Ability to understand and implement technical governance and assurance of the application and platform features.
• Ability to translate business process requirements and develop and deliver proposed design solutions within the known constraints.
• Provide technical leadership to Developers and technical teams.
• Ability to do assurance of technical deliverables and artefacts produced by the technical team.
• Support in the development of technology roadmap and implementation steps.

The following DDAT skills are relevant to the role:

• Programming and build - using agreed security standards and specifications to design, create, test and document new or amended software.
• Prototyping. You can apply technical knowledge and experience to create or design workable prototypes, both programs and physical outputs. You understand parameters, restrictions, and synergies.
• You understand users and can identify who they are and what their needs are, based on evidence. You can translate user stories and propose design approaches or services.
• You can define, analyse, plan, forecast, measure, maintain and improve all aspects of the availability of services, including power.

• Information security. You maintain the security, confidentiality and integrity of information systems through compliance with relevant legislation and regulations.
