Due to ongoing expansion, Alten Ltd is looking for a system engineer to join our team in south of England within the defense sector. This is a fantastic chance to join a fast-growing company with strong core values of; Excellence, Accountability, Integrity and Service.

Your new role:

As a system engineer you will be one of our consultants performing on one of our major engineering projects in the UK. You will also be contributing to our development and growth within the defence industry.

As a system engineer your main responsibilities will be:

  • Systems integration, verification & validation
  • Authoring of compliance statements
  • Authoring of analogy reports
  • Work on cutting edge technology used for surveillance and counter-intelligence operations covering humanitarian aid to front line missions

Who are we looking for?

The ideal candidate will possess a passion for Engineering, with a result-oriented and proactive mind-set. The successful candidate will have the chance to work on several exciting projects throughout their career with Alten, developing their engineering knowledge as a Job Title and a consultant.

Experience required:

  • Experience in proof of compliance to high level requirements
  • Engineering documentation & configuration management, including base-lining
  • Experience with design verification review matrices
  • Tools: DOORS, Teamcenter

Qualifications required:

Degree in a relevant engineering discipline with demonstrable experience.
