Our technical specialists deploy systems running many of the major operating systems such as Microsoft Windows, Mac OS, and multiple Linux distros. We also provide Messaging and Collaboration systems and support, Application packaging and deployment, along with supporting Infrastructure and Cloud services and support. Our time can be split between our services and project work, so we have the chance to be multi-disciplined and access to a range of technologies.

The Day Job

The solution is a private cloud and automation platform. This has been described as AWS on premise without AWS tools. The project is to design and build the private cloud tenant infrastructure and all supporting tools above the hosting platform (virtualisation infrastructure). Which will allow the deployment of customer business solution within short time frames. This will utilises a high level of automation and component patterns to build a secure multi-tenant  architecture and supporting it through live operation. The project will be built tenants using VMware Enterprise and is each tenant will be primarily a Windows business environment and a large number of remote site to manage.

As Network Managed Service Lead Engineer you will be managing  a small team that is tasked with developing the policies and network design for the client remote sites that provides services to the end Users. You will report to the authority design lead on the progress and issues the team are facing. Describing these in both technical and none technical way for the consumption of wide stakeholders. You will provide support to the migration and support teams, as well as interface with the authorities architecture team.

You will support the  packaging  and development of the policies from the network development environment in to release units and provide quality control of all supporting documentation so that it to meet the authorities guidance. Support the release unit through the delivery life cycle to production.

  • Understand and deliver the client’s expectations within the designed solution

Essential Skills

  • CISO ISE and DNAc products (Certified or have 2 year experience)
  • Experience with network security and management of cabling
  • Must have a Degree in engineering subject (STEM) or SME Certification
  • Demonstrated ability to work unsupervised to broad objectives.
  • Defence / Government sector experience
  • DV Clearance (current)
