About the role

Here at Babcock International, we're looking to recruit three Linesworkers to join the team.

You will work within a working party (generally between 3 and 6 persons) and be able to supervise and mentor others within the team.

You will be responsible for carrying out specified tasks in the construction and refurbishment of overhead power transmission lines. An LE1 is required to receive safety documentation on occasion, ensuring safety from the system for the working party.

What do I need to do the role?

You will have proven experience working on the construction and refurbishment of overhead power transmission lines including, 400KV, 275KV and 132KV overhead lines and erection and dismantling of steel Lattice Towers.

You will have the ability to demonstrate safety, integrity & commitment at all times, including a good understanding of the requirements of Health & Safety at work and personal safety.

You will also possess a good knowledge of rigging methods for clipping in and out.

Willingness to work and live away from home, and a valid driving licence are essential.

What else do I need to know?

This role is based on site and could be anywhere across the UK depending on project locations so you must be prepared to live away from home.
