Key Responsibilities and Accountabilities
* Support a multi-disciplinary team to deliver the data Bank product and continuously improve it through an iterative agile process
* Develop a deep understanding of the users' needs and champion these in the delivery of the Data Bank's features
* Help define, explain and iterate a product vision that is compelling to your users, team and stakeholders
* Support the management of a product backlog, writing user stories and making decisions about prioritisation based on evidence
* Supporting the Product Owner in the deciding on priority of user stories and epics
* Helping validate features that are released and work out what we should do next
* Engage with users and stakeholders in a range of settings to encourage feedback about use of your product
* Help set measurable goals for your product and report against these to demonstrate progress against stated benefits
* Creating and managing product requirements on Jira
* Help support the delivery of the wider data roadmap
Experience
Essential -
* an awareness of product management approaches in an agile digital delivery context, such as user needs, prioritisation and continuous improvement
* experience of engaging with users and identifying how their needs can be met by products and services
* familiarity with monitoring and reporting measurable performance targets
* strong verbal, written and visual communication skills tailored to the needs of the audience
* familiarity of digital delivery work on a multi-disciplinary team, involving design, development and content roles
* an interest in new and emerging digital technologies and the opportunities they provide to improve the delivery of data services
* previously managed a backlog of work, and been responsible for prioritising work streams
* Project Management skills \ experience. This includes planning (including activity assessment and prioritisation) and reporting using technologies such as MS Project, Jira, Powerpoint.
* Analytical skills \ experience. Translating Business needs to Business requirements documents and User stories
