People Operations Coordinator - Liverpool

Here in the Serco Workforce Solutions team we're responsible for hiring people that deliver essential public services in defence, transport, justice, immigration, healthcare and citizen services. And as our new People Operations Coordinator you'll help us find, recruit, and manage a team of temporary staff across our regions.
In this role you'll be assisting in the end-to-end process for temp labour recruitment and supporting on a number of different activities within the candidate life cycle. This includes attracting and recruiting candidates, through to the onboarding and vetting of successful candidates, and ensuring mandatory training modules are completed. D&I is important to us, so you'll be an ambassador to all your stakeholders - ensuring that there is a diverse and inclusive selection process whilst challenging your customers appropriately when needed.

What you need to do the job
To be successful in in this role you need to be organised, able to plan and prioritize multiple recruitment campaigns, and be a real people person. So, as well as having good verbal and written communication skills you'll be naturally organized and comfortable dealing with a variety of tasks. You'll be speaking with candidates and with other members of the team daily, so you'll need confidence and professionalism even when under pressure.
We use a variety of online tools and technology, so you'll be happy working with Office 365 applications and ATS technology. You will also need strong experience within a recruitment environment - either in-house, RPO or recruitment agency.
Please note; whilst this role is home-based during COVID you will be expected to have a base location within one of our UK Regions.
