We are recruiting a Linux Systems Engineer to work with a multi-national, industry leading cyber security / defence company in Manchester. Our teams are what drives us forward in our mission to make the UK as safe as possible. Therefore, we are looking for the best talent to join the team. Due to the nature of our clients, you must hold DV security clearance.

WHAT WILL THE LINUX ENGINEER BE DOING?

As a Linux Engineer, you will take be playing a key role in all aspects of the system development lifecycle. Responsibilities include, but are not limited to:

• Building and supporting large scale Linux deployments
• Working in agile feature delivery teams with test engineers and software developers as well as others
• Using DevOps and Infrastructure as Code techniques to change the way our customers do business
• Using the latest technology to deliver reliable solutions to our customers
• Customer and stakeholder management

WE NEED THE LINUX ENGINEER TO HAVE….

• Current DV Clearance (Enhanced)
• Strong Linux experience
• Scripting with Python or Bash
• Public cloud experience – AWS/Azure
• Security and firewalls
