My Client is looking for a Change Lead for an initial 12 month contract with the potential to extend. This role is inside of IR35.

The Making Finance Brilliant programme is a key enabler in the transformation of our finance operating model as part of the One BT strategy. Our Finance ambition is to create, enhance & protect financial value for BT's shareholders by driving value, productivity & trust. This role drives business readiness, business adoption and benefits realisation across all units in BT as part of this radical transformation programme and focusses on the changes associated with the Core UK subledger implementations in the second phase of the programme. The complex and multifaceted nature of this operating modal change with many stakeholders requires intuitive and embedded change management and stakeholder management with quantified, trackable business adoption intervention plans.

*Lead and develop the matrix Change Management team to build capability and quality in change management, ensuring the business adoption team act as the conscience of our programme, and that we land change that 'sticks' and can deliver with certainty.
*Change management/business adoption strategy, best practice, and principles. Develop, own, and continually improve the Change Management handbook and toolkit, including incorporation of lessons learned. Ensure their usage and review. Ensure key principles are captured and built into the individual change programme approaches. Keep status of projects up to date, ensure action items are documented and resolved, and provide updates to leadership as needed.
*Drive and operationalise change management process to ensure adoption of the changes required, including
oStakeholder matrix/personas engagement/management.
oChange and business impact assessment, business adoption strategy and delivery and business readiness management and support for the business roll-out plan.
oEnsure the change is embedded into BAU and sustained, and transition training, change and communications materials to the business teams and BAU post go-live.
oEmbedded benefits delivery and realisation.
*Partner with CFU/CU and Group Finance to ensure appropriate knowledge sharing and identify & mitigate roadblocks to success.
*Ensure alignment of all change management communications to strategic plan and corporate messages. Agree key messages with executive stakeholders as appropriate and ensure these are built into communications planning with consistency and strategic context across programmes and projects.
*Lead engagement with Training and Internal Communications to ensure alignment of change management solutions to corporate standards and group messages. Engage HR and other programmes for successful end-to-end delivery and adoption of well managed change.
*Responsible for building and maintaining strong senior manager level relationships both internally and externally as applicable. Building on existing networks and developing relevant contacts throughout the organisation.
*Lead the design, engagement and ongoing management of a Change Network including CFU/CU Change Champions and Change Management teams.

Experience you would be expected to have:

MANDATORY:
*Experience in leading change and business adoption, with knowledge of building change management strategies, tools, and their application.
*Excellent stakeholder engagement skills and interpersonal skills. Comfortable dealing with challenge and conflict using influencing and empathy skills to resolve conflicts.
*Ability to build and manage relationships at all levels and across varying functions of the organisation.
*Experience of working in a Finance organisation, with knowledge/understanding of the Tower process activities and associated interdependencies.
*Experienced in converting complex finance systems / processes into easily digestible collateral for decision making and engagement purposes.
*Flexible and adaptable; able to work in ambiguous situations.
PREFERRED
*Senior management and leadership including during times of major restructuring and transformation.
