Delivery Manager Inside IR35

Contract Term: 6 months

As a Delivery Manager, your main responsibilities would be: 

  • To manage risks, budgets and people to time, quality and cost. Ensuring delivery momentum is maintained with safe, secure and agile, iterative products with user feedback built into refinements.
  • The delivery of assigned products, projects and programmes, ensuring that the business owner’s vision is realised and that the business objectives are met
  • Day to day management of the project’s resources to ensure tasks are implemented on time, on budget and to the required scope and quality, challenging where appropriate for technical or business robustness.
  • Ensure third party integration of solutions is managed end to end.
  • Build and maintain high performing, motivated teams comprised of individuals from a variety of

disciplines and backgrounds

 

  • Deliver products and services using the appropriate agile delivery methodology, learning and iterating frequently
  • Identify, develop and coach agile principles and practices, and lean tools and techniques to the delivery team and engage with the wider organisation.
  • Delivery momentum is maintained with safe, secure and agile, iterative products with user feedback built into refinements.
  • Regular reviews of the product & service being delivered are held with necessary stakeholders
  • Reporting requirements are fulfilled
  • Evidence of continuous improvement through retrospectives and their subsequent actions

You’ll have relevant experience in:

  • Technical ownership of projects and products, demonstrating proactive engagement to deliver solutions.
  • Using agile project management methods while understanding the fundamental principles behind what they are trying to achieve and why they are valued.
  • Balancing multiple priorities and dealing with ambiguity, applying both pragmatism and bold direction when appropriate.
  • Sound understanding of the digital landscape, open source technologies and modern practices around continuous deployment.
  • Excellent leadership and management skills, communicating clear strategy and purpose.
  • Experience in leading multi-disciplinary teams, developing and motivating individuals.
  • Adherence to the Agile Delivery Governance framework and management of other governance and control processes including risk and issue management, progress reporting, change control, etc
  • Manage resource plans and control / forecast financial spend against the budget.
  • Manage third party and cross team interfaces and integrations.
  • Coaching Scrum principles, to deliver the specified requirements for the product or service 
  • Coaching Software delivery methods
