Job Description Summary This global role will have overall accountability for the Production Planning and internal logistics within the PDx Contrast Media supply Chain. It will play a critical role in the development of a best in class PDx S&OP process. Specifically, the role will lead the Global Supply Planning organisation (Primary & Secondary Manufacturing) in ensuring supply of product from forecast/demand to plant output in meeting customer, commercial, financial and operational plans.

Job Description
  • Lead as process Owner for Supply within the S&OP process, facilitating teams to execute (transformational) improvement initiatives
  • Provide leadership and vision to optimize Supply Chain processes (Supply/Network Planning, Capacity Planning, Detailed Scheduling, Event Planning and Inventory Management)
  • Leverage Process Excellence and Lean practices, as well as Advanced Planning Systems / Techniques to further supply chain maturity.
  • Develop and ensure the execution of a constrained plan and detailed manufacturing schedule, as well as driving RM and WIP Inventory Planning/Optimization thereby ensuring best use of network capacity to optimize investment and meet demand and inventory goals
  • May serve on or lead global initiatives (e.g. process improvement, training, Lean deployment, inventory management etc)
  • Provide supply chain planning leadership as part of a multi-disciplined cross functional team tasked with delivering the business' strategic manufacturing objectives.
  • In the spirit of continuous improvement, build a best-in-class, talent centric organisation built around the core pillars of Lean and Supply Chain excellence.
  • Lead Global manufacturing site Logistics teams
  • Controls the consolidated global SPP and Blueprint process and allocates plant volumes across the PDx Supply Chain.
  • Leveraging external best practice, harmonise and advance the capability of the PDx Production Planning Processes
  • Leads the operational site global SPP process for PDx ensuring alignment with S&OE and exec S&OP direction
  • Manages manufacturing Site inventories including material flow.
  • Manage all local warehouse, freight and distribution costs.
  • Develops planning policies and systems to manage PDx customer service expectations.
  • Works with the extended logistics team within the PDx to deliver operational synergies and maximise service to our customers.


Required Qualifications
  • Bachelors' degree in business or supply chain, or equivalent knowledge
  • A minimum of 10 years in Manufacturing, Planning, Sourcing and/or Logistics
  • Experience in collaboration with the key interfaces within the end to end supply chain, with manufacturing and between supply chain and commercial functions
