Finance Business Partner

We are currently recruiting for a SC Cleared Finance Business Partner on behalf of the MOD.

As an SC Cleared Finance Business Partner, your main responsibilities would be: 

• Financial Planning
• Offering financial advice to non-financial colleagues and Stakeholders
• Budgeting
• Financial reporting
• Preparing financial presentations
• Dealing with a multitude of offline spreadsheets
• Ad hoc duties including dealing with Project Manager with regards to financial issues

You’ll have relevant experience in:

• Experience in leading teams to achieve successful outcomes and provision of strong working relationships with colleagues.
• Experience of finance Business partnering in a delivery organisation.
• Provision and articulation of financial advice and guidance at a senior civilian and military level along with the ability to provide clear & robust financial data to mixed and varied internal and external stakeholders to ensure that the full account of financial position is articulated and demonstrate how this was used to facilitate investment decisions.
• Understanding and active experience in ABC forward planning and In-Year Management of delegated Resource Departmental Expenditure Limits (RDEL) and Capital Departmental Expenditure Limits (CDEL) spend is required together with FSCa full understanding of delegations and the financial impact of the relevant decisions made within these functions.
• Ability to understand and interpret MOD policy and DIO internal governance requirements to ensure that MPP Governance, Forecasting & In Year Management is and remains, compliant at all times.
