The right person for this role will have a proven track record of business analysis, including in agile environments, with the ability to translate strategy and end-to-end business design into detailed outcomes relating to change initiatives.

The Role of a Business Analyst

Your role as a Business Analyst is to understand and analyse both user and business needs. You will ensure the outcomes are aligned with service vision and business strategy by contributing to the link between current and future business models, delivering to the business architecture.

You will challenge constructively and act as a critical friend to achieve solutions that are fit for purpose. You will facilitate collaboration and lead effective communication with all stakeholders to support design, build and delivery to meet the user needs.

Essential Criteria:

?? Gathering business requirements

??  AS IS and Target process mapping

??Gap Analysis, Benefits Mapping and strategic assessment to support UKVI???s transformation portfolio Upskilling existing BA resource

??Demonstrable understanding of the Business Analyst role in a range of methodologies, including Agile and Waterfall

??Experienced in the development of business requirements, business processes, process modelling, gap analysis, benefits mapping

?? Ability to work in multi-disciplinary teams, bring together people and views to inform decision making and be willing to support work that isn't part of your core role

??Skilled at stakeholder engagement with the ability to communicate technical concepts to non-technical people

??Good understanding of how Business Analysis practice should look in a digitally focused environment

Desirable:

??  Good understanding of, and ability to, design processes that comply with national and public sector standard

?? Worked on Large-scale public sector projects experience
