Job Details
AWE is currently recruiting for Assistant Buyers; these are 6-month fixed term contracts.
This role will be for the end to end management of purchase orders, including expediting and resolving invoice queries to meet business needs.
Location - Reading area
Package - £ 26,450 - 33,000 (subject to skills and experience)

You will be required to:
Provide operational support with supplier relationships to ensure on time delivery and payment of invoices
Manage day to day buying activities, ensuring demands are understood and met with any issues dealt with promptly
Assist with data collection and validation to support reporting
Develop and maintain working relationships and awareness within the internal supply chain function
To be successful in this role you should have the following skills:
A-Levels at Grade C above to include Maths and English, or an equivalent qualification/experience
Planning and prioritising workload
Proficient with MS Office - basic skill level in Excel
Delivering objectives on time, in full
Accuracy in data entry and attention to detail
Experience working in a procurement or customer services environment
All candidates must be willing and able to obtain and maintain the necessary security clearance for the role and be willing and able to work in designated areas.
