Customer Service Officer

As the Customer Service Officer, you will deal with and resolve customer enquiries over a broad range of services, including council tax, parking and environmental management as well as others. You will have responsibility for ensuring that further actions are taken or requested as appropriate. You will ensure customers contacting the Council by telephone or in writing receive an excellent level of customer service and prioritise actions and decisions according to customer needs.
The Customer Service Officer will develop and maintain a broad knowledge of service areas to ensure customers receive accurate information and a 'one stop' service for query resolution.
What you'll need to do the role
The successful candidate will have strong communication and listening skills and will be able to communicate effectively by telephone and in writing. Customer service experience is essential.
