Overview:

We are recruiting for an SC or DV cleared Microsoft Engineer to join our exceptional client in their Identity and access management (IDAM) team.

The IDAM project provides identity and access management technologies and processes across a diverse geographic and stakeholder environment.

IdAM have a requirement for a Microsoft Engineer to work across complex work packages, working alongside Project Managers, Business Analysts and other technical Subject Matter Experts.

Responsibilities:

  • Assist with the deployment & integration of Identity & Access Management (IdAM) components within a complex, highly-visible and business critical environment.
  • Produce/update technical design and support documentation as required.
  • Troubleshooting and support.
  • Supplier engagement and management.
  • Provide assistance to the project & support teams and associated stakeholders as required.
  • Provide support coverage for delivered components where required.

Core skills include:

  • Ability to work well as a team or independently as required.
  • Ability to work under pressure and prioritise time.
  • Ability to communicate effectively with the team and to key stakeholders up to senior management level.
  • Must have experience in building web services on the .NET Framework.

In addition, good working knowledge & experience of at least 4 of the following:

  • Windows 2012 R2 / 2016 / 2019 (configuration/deployment/troubleshooting).
  • Active Directory Domain Services including Group Policy management.
  • Active Directory Lightweight Domain Services.
  • Active Directory Certificate Services.
  • Active Directory Federation Services.
  • Microsoft Identity Manager (MIM) 2016.
  • Microsoft SQL Server 2014, 2016.
  • PowerShell scripting.

In return:

You will be working in a challenging and quirky environment with some of the best minds in the country. Contracted for 12 months initially with a possibly to extend thereafter. You'll be challenged and pushed to succeed and will have autonomy to make changes with the Risk owner.
