Here at Serco we have an exciting opportunity for an On Street Team Leader to join our fun and vibrant London Cycle Hire team. Our bikes are available 24hrs a day, 7 days a week, 365 days year, so you'll play a vital role in ensuring that customers have ongoing access to this growing and popular service. There are more than 11,500 bikes and over 750 bike docking stations across London to help you get around quickly and easily. The scheme includes South West London, so now you can saddle up anywhere from Shepherds Bush to Canary Wharf and Wandsworth Town to Camden Town.

This role will see you provide first line of management for On Street employees, overseeing On Street bike triage and repair, Planned Project delivery and planned training schedules and development programmes.

You will supervise and provide 1:1 feedback to On Street employees, cover for on street employees where required, such as in times of staff shortages, carry out Absence Management tasks including Stage 1 meetings, monitoring attendance data and highlighting issues to managers, lead recruitment activity including interviews, onboarding and inductions, and develop and maintain a good understanding of the KPIs and ensure your team understands and achieves their KPIs.

About You

In order to be considered for this position, it is essential that you hold a full UK driving licence and are willing to learn to drive a 50cc scooter.

You should have previous experience within a supervisory role and be a quick learner keen to learn new skills.

Strong IT skills are essential, particularly in Exel and Powerpoint, as well as the confidence to lead breifing sessions and deal with difficult HR related situations.
