Greater Manchester Police is one of the largest police forces in the UK and is responsible for keeping its diverse population of almost 3 million safe.
The force is looking for Accelerated Detective Tutors (ADT) to work in various locations across the force to provide investigative support to the accelerated detectives, by imparting the skills you will have from being a previous police investigator. This is a new, flexible and exciting opportunity to support CID teams and new Detectives develop into investigators of the future. This could be your GMP legacy.
To apply for this opportunity you will require previous experience of investigating PIP2 crime (serious and complex), or equivalent experience. The ability to carry out all duties and associated tasks relevant to the post including: statement taking, suspect interviewing, exhibit handling, disclosure, Crown Prosecution Service (CPS) file completion, and court attendance.
You should hold a full UK driving license and have access to a vehicle.
