Due to an internal move we are looking for an Assistant Project Security Manager for a secure government Project, to develop and manage the Stevenage-specific Protective Security aspects for assets, information and personnel operating, and being manufactured, as part of the wider project. You'll be working with business and government stakeholders at a range of levels to advise and negotiate contractual security and Security Risk Management; and ensure the Project Security's seamless integration with the wider Site Security Team and other business elements such as Human Resources, Information Management and Facilities Management. You'll also be the conduit between the Project Team and parent Programme Security Manager in articulating the requirements of and progress towards ISO27000 certification, and supporting the Project Manager in implementing ISO28000 across the supply chain.

Physical and Personnel Security - You'll be responsible for meeting both programme and government requirements in surveying and designing the physical security of new List-X areas and other deployed locations; writing Project Security Instructions; and designing and delivering security education and briefings to project team members, visitors and supporting business elements, to ensure that all meet the required standard to access the project's classified assets and networks.

Information Assurance - You'll be responsible for managing the organisation, movement and accounting of the project's classified assets at Stevenage and various other test facilities, developing bespoke solutions to ensure that the project's ways of working remain compliant with contractual and government security requirements. You'll also by pivotal in supporting the management and investigation of security incidents and breaches through your in depth knowledge of, and relationship with, the project itself.
