Big Data Engineer

My Telecoms client is looking for a big data engineer to be based for a few days per week in Ipswich and the rest remote.

This role is inside of IR35 and will be a 3 month rolling contract.


Experience Required:
*Computer Science, Software Engineering or related degree
*Cyber Domain and Product Knowledge
*Big Data technologies (e.g. Cloudera, Elastic Search, Google Cloud Platform)

Working as a Software Engineering Professional you will possess technical expertise in Big Data technologies, Cyber Security Tools, analysis and insight, understand production planning, business drivers, finance and resource dynamics in both Lead to Cash and Trouble to Resolve. Prior experience in the Cyber Security domain would be advantageous.

You will be responsible for ensuring that requirements are planned and decomposed effectively and progressed in a timely basis manner using Agile methodology.
This role requires a high level of technical ability as well as technical leadership of a number of agile squads
