You might know us for the great work we do across our wide variety of projects. We're proud to say it's thanks to our people's diversity of thought, expertise and knowledge. And when you join us, you'll be a part of this genuinely collaborative environment, where everyone's voice is valued and treated equally.

We're passionate about what we do, but we don't take ourselves too seriously. Simply put, this a great place to be. So, when it comes to your life outside of work, ask us about our flexible and remote working policies designed to help you get the most out of life. We actively encourage candidates who are returning to work.

With exciting new opportunities in the Manchester region we are looking to attract the brightest and best talent, and we have roles suitable for candidates who have a background in PMO, Business Consultancy and/or Portfolio, Programme and Project management services (across all delivery methodologies). Experience of consultancy or implementing technology in programme environments is of interest, but not essential. Much of the work will be for our Government clients in the security and defence sectors, but there may be opportunities for you to expand into other sectors over time. As this is a consultancy role, travel may be required for some assignments.

Your purpose

We are recruiting across all levels of experience. The successful candidate is dynamic, engaging and will excel when working alongside clients. They are driven to affect change and deliver to a high standard in their environments. It is essential you possess effective stakeholder skills and problem-solving ability. With sometimes competing priorities good time management and prioritisation skills are essential. Our people are inquisitive, pro-active and reliable partners that can help maximise the value from digital capability and solutions. The successful candidate will help their clients survive and thrive in an increasingly complex world, displaying leadership to help them solve and navigate different problems.

You will need a strong ability to work cooperatively, supporting and championing the growth and development of colleagues, demonstrating high emotional intelligence with effective questioning and listening skills.

What you can bring?

A working knowledge and demonstrable experience in all or some of the following areas:

  • Ability to identify problems collaboratively and develop actions/solutions with our clients, communicating both to key stakeholders and presenting information through reports, dashboards and slides as appropriate.
  • Experience of working in a project delivery environment or PMO with a good understanding of structured and agile methodologies (e.g. APMP, PRINCE2, SAFe, MSP, DSDM, Scrum).
  • Ability to build relationships with immediate colleagues and clients.
  • Agile awareness and knowledge (e.g. Planning Increments, SCRUM, Kanban, JIRA, Lean Start Up, Value Proposition Canvass).
  • Communications planning and implementation.
  • Exemplary stakeholder engagement and management skills.
  • Ability to set up, and manage delivery, recognising what methodologies and levels of governance are appropriate.
  • Project planning, scheduling, monitoring and reporting in line with client requirements.
  • Risk and Issue management.
  • Requirements capture and management.
  • Experience of commercial and financial processes would be advantageous.
