On behalf of our leading consultancy client in the UK, we are looking to recruit a Planning Consultant (Project, Programme and Portfolio Planner). The role will perform remotely.
Responsibilities
- Maintain existing project schedules and create further schedules where required that align with the requirements for the scope of work and execution policy.
- Responsibility for schedule quality, accuracy, and completeness
- Support the Project Manager providing proactive and predictive information and solutions.
- Ability to align the schedule to the risk and cost tools and work hand in hand with these functions.
- Reviewing and commenting on technical reports.
- Support of customer and stakeholders – being able to identify the stakeholders and provide relevant accurate data for their consumption.
- Adherence to the local policy and process whilst using individual and the company’s collective functional knowledge to challenge complexity and add value.
Requirements
- Proficient use of office suite of programmes
- Demonstrable working knowledge of Planning software such as Microsoft Project and Primavera planning tools.
- Awareness and/or proficiency in Schedule Risk Analysis tools.
- Experience in reporting Management Information
- Ability to obtain SC level security clearance.
- Driving Licence
