Job Description Summary The Field Staffing Manager will develop competitive strategies to effectively hire, retain, train and assign resources. The Field Staffing Manager will work closely with the Hub Leader to drive resource operational processes and compliance by establishing and maintaining operating rhythms throughout the Hub. This position will drive consistent behavior among the team and support process/execution changes through data analysis. The Field Staffing Manager will integrate and develop processes that meet resource needs across the Hub, manage, complex issues, be involved in long-term planning and contributes to the overall business strategy.
Job Description Essential Duties & Responsibilities: • Ensure endurance EHS policies and procedures, standardize operational processes, operationalize the staffing strategy ensuring increased utilization of the Field Services team. Maintain appropriate capacity and competencies in line with demand.• Drive operational excellence, rigor, and compliance on Environmental, Health and Safety (EHS) / Quality / Cycle / Cost / Productivity• Lead excellence on EHS and 0 deviations policy to GE Steam Power EHS rules, Monitor EHS Performance pre and post outage working with Site EHS Specialists• Standardize operational processes and meet compliance requirements by establishing and maintaining operating rhythms across all segments, projects and customers • Work closely with the Sub region leaders and CSLs to investigate, analyze, and resolve field service issues and quality in a timely manner• In the frame of the Outage End 2 End process, develop and implement an outage best practice plan• Operationalize the staffing strategy ensuring increased utilization of the Field Services team• Ensure continuous client contact to assess long-term staffing needs • Contribute to strategic planning activities with S&OP team• Leverage key productivity tools in lean and quality to deliver process excellence• Manage, lead, and develop a team of Field Service resources • Securing the qualifications requirements within the team• Maintain stakeholders relationship partnership, alignment, and credibility• Travel required • May be assigned other duties to help proactively drive our Steam Power core values.Required Qualifications & Experience: • Bachelor degree• 5+ years Field experience (TFA/Outage Management); • project management skills; • people leadership skills - management & development• English proficiency required, other European language - advantage• Stakeholders managementDesired Characteristics: • Technical expertise in steam power technology• Experience in rotating equipment industry• Conflict management/resolution, influencing skills• Excellent management, customer service, and organizational skills • Knowledge of power generation products, services, and installations • Demonstrated commitment for process improvement • Troubleshooting and problem-solving abilities • Interpersonal skills; ability to work with all levels of employees • Ability to work independently in a fast-paced environment • Excellent oral and written communication and leadership skills
