Serco at RAF Alconbury/ RAF Molesworth are contracted to USAFE to deliver Ground Transportation services across the UK.

We are recruiting for a Driver who is looking to improve their work life balance. Reporting to the Serco Vehicle Operations Supervisor, the role requires the Shift Driver to complete driving tasks in support of the mission at RAF Alconbury. As part of this role you will be required to work on a 5 day shift pattern over a 7 day period with the potential for some nights. You will be responsible for the safe operation of a variety of United States Air Force vehicles. On occasions the role will require the ability to multi-task and assist in other duties as instructed by the Operations Supervisor or Site Lead

The role offers driving variety and you will be joining a supportive team and a friendly working environment.

What you need to do the job

To be considered for this role it is essential that you have experience of regular driving commitments. We would be very interested in any candidates who hold a clean PCV and or C+E driving licence. A current CPC card would also be desirable. We are also open to applications from candidates who show the right aptitude and commitment to become PCV and/or C+E qualified. This is an opportunity for someone who can communicate with customers at all levels in a polite manner.
