Here at Serco we're helping the UK Government address the challenges posed by Coronavirus - and to actively support them in combating the spread of the disease we're now recruiting for an Agency Resource Manager to support the operations of our Testing Services.

About You

First and foremost, you will be an experienced Agency Performance Manager with operational experience and stakeholder management, with the ability to keep to strict timescales and able to adapt to change.

Reporting to the Head of Operations Support, you will be responsible for managing agencies supporting the Covid Testing Service, ensuring that all new sites are set up with the correct staffing resource and maintain and develop relationships with all stakeholders and agencies.

You will be accountable for all staffing enquiries for agency works and for the deployment of all agency staff on sites nationally, all Agency HR issues relating to temporary workers at test centres and agency compliance, as well as ensuring all Purchase Orders are raised in a timely manner.

In additon to this, you will be responsible for managing agency performance against agreed SLA's and KPIs, analysing data and creating reports, and ensure all agencies are working to the same KPIs.

As part of the role, you will attend regular meetings with Directors and Regional Managers to keep abreast of all staffing requirements, both current and upcoming, and to inform them of the progress and performance of the agency resource function.

In order to be considered for this position, you must have demonstrable experience of managing large, national resourcing contracts with extensive knowledge around agency worker regulations, worker compliance and operational management.

You should have strong data analysis skills and reporting capabilities and come from a reactive recruitment environment. Previous experience of agency supplier performance management is essential.

This role is a remote working position with some travel to sites around England and Wales, so a clean driving licence is essential. Travel expenses will be paid.

Lastly, this role is exempt from the Rehabilitation of Offenders Act 1974 and all offers of employment are subject to security clearance checks and approval by the Home Office.
