Job Description Summary This role will be responsible to enhance, own and operate the strategy for inventory management within the PDx supply chain. The successful candidate will lead the internal teams and partner organisations to establish and attain targets and goals which align to the operational objectives for PDx. Through the use of lean techniques and philosophies, he/she will lead and deliver process improvements which benefit PDx's high growth environment and financial objectives.

Job Description
  • Contributes to and then executes global inventory management strategy in alignment with the overall Supply Chain strategy.
  • Designs raw material and component supply chains and associated performance scorecards aligned with all goals and objectives.
  • Continue the development of a robust team in the processes and techniques of complex inventory management build a best-in-class, talent centric organisation representing the Lean ambition of PDx.
  • Partners directly with Demand& Supply Planning / Logistics / Manufacturing on forecasting, tactical improvements, material flow etc and issue resolution with regular progress updates to senior leaders.
  • Advises organisation towards successful outcomes to ensure a positive step wise approach to a "Pull Manufacturing" model for PDx.
  • Works cross-functionally to ensure optimisation and management of on-hand raw materials and components in terms of quantity, quality and timeliness.
  • Supports and participates in PDx Supply Chain inventory management process.
  • Proactively identifies potential business issues and/or supply constraints, develops risk mitigation plans, etc.
  • Assesses the current materials organisation and proposes structures to position the business for the future business challenges and requirements.
  • Work with Planning and Logistics leaders to optimise end to end value streams
  • Share best practices across the supply chain and act as a conduit to accelerate improvements

Required Qualifications
  • Degree or equivalent third level qualification in Engineering; Materials Management; Business or equivalent Pharmaceutical industry experience
  • At least 3-5 years of working experience in a Materials Management role
  • Experience solving complex problems and transforming business performance and process through the application of Lean techniques.
  • Analytical, strategic, pragmatic, quick thinking and possess a "big picture" mentality.
  • Experience in collaboration with the key interfaces within the end to end supply chain, with manufacturing and between supply chain and commercial functions
