Job Description Summary This global role will have overall accountability for the Demand Planning process within the PDx Supply Chain. It will play a critical role in the development of a best in class PDx S&OP process.  Specifically, the role will partner with sales, marketing, operations and finance to develop an accurate demand forecast for all SKUs in the designated areas of the business (Contrast Media, PET and SPECT) They are accountable to provide focus and integration of data from multiple sources, which are used to develop accurate and timely forecasts supporting Operations, Sales and Financial Planning.

Job Description
  • Lead, as process Owner for Demand, within the S&OP process, facilitating teams to execute (transformational) improvement initiatives
  • Communicate demand forecast plans and the assumptions behind them through the supply chain
  • Work closely with the Supply Planning team to identify and resolve changes in the forecast and their impact on the supply chain.
  • Establish and manage SKU level statistical forecasts whilst delivering on forecast accuracy targets
  • Gather and incorporate all sources of market intelligence to produce the best possible operational forecast
  • Drive the future of forecasting in PDx, leveraging external best practices such as AI, demand sensing etc.
  • Update and monitor process key performance indicators and diagnostics to ensure continual forecast improvement efforts. E.g. analyse forecast accuracy and bias to identify and implement process enhancements
  • Provide leadership and vision to optimize Supply Chain processes (Forecasting, Demand Planning, commercial engagement , Event Planning and Inventory Management)
  • Leverage Process Excellence and Lean practices, as well as Advanced Planning Systems / Techniques to further supply chain maturity.
  • May serve on or lead global initiatives (e.g. process improvement, training, Lean deployment, inventory management etc)
  • Provide supply chain planning leadership as part of a multi-disciplined cross functional team tasked with delivering the business' strategic objectives.
  • In the spirit of continuous improvement, build a best-in-class, talent centric organisation built around the core pillars of Lean and Supply Chain excellence.
  • Lead Global demand planning teams to develops planning policies and systems to manage PDx customer service expectations.

Required Qualifications
  • Bachelors' degree in business or supply chain, or equivalent knowledge
  • A minimum of 10 years in Supply Chain, Demand Planning, and/or Logistics
  • Experience in collaboration with the key interfaces within the end to end supply chain, with manufacturing and between supply chain and commercial functions

  • Must be able to quickly grasp the various dimensions of business issues. Must be able to make sense out of complexity, deal with uncertainty and understand the implications of a decision on all affected parts of the business unit
