Job Description Summary Reporting to the Gate 2 Production Cell Leader in the Component Repair welding shop.
The ability to weld and braze precision aircraft engine components for engine overhaul, assembly, and test. Work unsupervised while maintaining a safe working environment and producing high quality components.

Job Description
  • Carry out TIG welding of aircraft engine components to fine tolerance limits.
  • Knowledge of brazing procedures.
  • Perform a level of mechanical fitting functions
  • Familiar with engineering drawings and OEM technical manuals.
  • Use of measuring equipment and be able to inspect engine components.
  • Precise attention to detail and a high level of concentration.
  • Good manual dexterity.
  • PC work including working with OEM manuals.

Qualifications/Requirements:-
  • Time served welder with apprenticeship/qualification essential.
  • Experience of working in a welding workshop environment.

Baseline Personnel Security Standard (BPSS) clearance is required and must be maintained for this role.
