Back End Developer x 2 – SC – 6 month Govt contract – Java, AWS, Linux, RabbitMQ, Apache NiFi, Kafka, WFH. Outside IR35.  Start in August / September.

Excellent contract opportunity for an experienced Back End Developer contractor to join our small software house focused on large National Government projects.  Key skills required – Java, AWS, Linux, Messaging technologies such as for RabbitMQ, Kafka or Apache Nifi.  Experience preferred in Docker, Python, Spring Boot frameworks, designing Restful APIs, SQL/NoSQL.  Experience in National Govt projects essential. Security clearance (SC) is a definite plus.

6 month contract with ongoing opportunities likely.  The nature of the programme means it is outside IR35.  Excellent rate according to level and skills, especially as this is working directly rather than through recruitment agency. 

SFIA level 4.  Start in August or September, but keen to receive applications now.

You will join a development team working remotely, now and generally, though you would need to attend project meetings occasionally in the south of England.  We have a long contract with the end client in Government, so this is a real opportunity for continued work and contract extensions.

You will also work on leading edge tech, working with a hugely talented tech team.  We’d like to hear from a team player who is tenacious about getting things done in an environment of creativity and quality delivery.  You will need to be security cleared at SC level.
