Do you have previous IT Technician experience? Are you looking to play a meaningful role in a creative environment? If so, we are searching for someone like you to join our team of experts supporting 3 NATO Signal Battalion (NSB) in Poland.

DESCRIPTION OF DUTIES

Your daily responsibilities will be as follows:

  • Responsible for all Deployed Communication and Information System (DCIS) maintenance planning in support of deployed operation
  • Plans Deployable Communication and Information System (DCIS) maintenance within the area of responsibility with emphasis on future NATO Signal Battalion operations.
  • Coordinate the Logistic strategic focus performed by Logistic support Section, and plans Section area of responsibility within operational focus in order to accomplish the NATO Signal Battalions' current and future tasks.
  • Coordinate the management of CIS Static equipment of the NSB.
  • Assess the maintenance of NATO Signal Battalion equipment.
  • Coordinate logistics functions in accordance with ACO and Battalion Directives.

ESSENTIAL REQUIREMENTS 

  • Secondary education and completed advanced vocational training leading to a professional qualification or professional accreditation with 3 years post related experience.
  • Knowledge of management and maintenance of CIS equipment and integrated logistic support.
  • Experience with CIS-related logistic strategic focus.
  • English: Listening, speaking, reading and writing shall be at a NATO level of English 3322.
  • Must hold B Driver License.
  • In possession of an active National or NATO security clearance to the minimum of Secret level.

DESIRABLE REQUIREMENTS 

  • Experience in NATO working environment or other international organizations.
  • 2 years’ experience in management and maintenance of DCIS equipment.
  • NATO Depot and Supply System (NDSS) experience.
  • ITSM knowledge.
