Job Details

Applications are invited to apply for the post of Intelligence Support Officer. The successful applicant will work within the JPS Tasking intelligence Unit. The post holder will be assessing, developing and disseminating intelligence, along with supporting key operations and events across the tri force Bedfordshire, Cambridgeshire and Hertfordshire.

To achieve this, they will be able to use force IT systems to collect, collate, evaluate and research intelligence reacting to patterns and trends.

This role is to brief and task specialist operation officers such as Roads Policing, Armed Policing and dog unit. As such it will be a challenging and rewarding appointment. The post holder will be expected to identify areas of risk and support key proactive and reactive operations and investigations.

The post holder will have good interpersonal skills, the ability to prioritize work and an enquiring mind. They will also be expected to promote the work of the intelligence unit in a professional manner. Working hours will be 08:00AM-16:00PM Monday to Friday.
